In terms of lightness, it is "Xubuntu", and in terms of coolness, it is "Kubuntu".
That very much depends on your needs. Generally speaking though, XFCE isn't nearly as light as it claims to be. It typically uses slightly more memory and CPU than KDE.

Certainly, running GIMP can make it heavier, so Xfce isn't as lightweight as it sounds ...
Plasma is difficult to introduce the theme, so Cinnamon seems to be good, right?
